The Swedish Forest Industries expands its office in Brussels as Marcus Lantz comes on board as Senior Policy Advisor. Marcus Lantz accompanies Anna Holmberg, who has worked in Brussels for the Swedish Forest Industries for a couple of years.
– This is a very welcome reinforcement, as there is much going on at moment, which affects our industry. I think of course of the negotiations of the Fit for 55 package but also on the upcoming Sustainable Products Initiative. It is vital for us to be present in Brussels to be able to contribute constructively and assure good results, says Anna Holmberg, Director and Head of the Brussels office for the Swedish Forest Industries.
– I am very much looking forward to contributing to the important work of creating better conditions for the Swedish forest industry. It is one of Sweden's most important industries that also plays a key role in our ability to address climate change. With my background, I hope to be able to contribute to European policy in all areas promoting Swedish and European forest sectors, says Marcus Lantz.
Marcus Lantz has a background as a political adviser in the European Parliament during the previous term. For the past two years, he has worked with Public Affairs for companies and organizations in the infrastructure and transport sector.
